Era uma vez três rádios piratas diferentes entre si mas que tinham o mesmo sonho. Assumirem o estatuto de rádios legais. A Rádio Horizonte em Estarreja, A Rádio Moliceiro na freguesia de Pardilhó e a Rádio Independente em Salreu. Decidiram então juntar-se e formar uma cooperativa, a Rádio Voz da Ria. A 20 de Junho de 1987 o sonho tornou-se realidade e foi dada autorização para que as emissões legais tivessem início.
